Ho aspettato questa rivista per oltre un mese;

poi, quando è arrivata, ero fuori città e una volta tornato ci ho messo due giorni prima di riuscire ad aprirla e sfogliarla a causa di altri impegni di lavoro e grandi piaceri di famiglia.

In tutto questo tempo e fin dal momento in cui mi hanno contattato, lo confesso, ho sempre stentato a crederci.

Per chi come me è abituato a soffrire e a sacrificare tutto per la passione e per mantenere sempre forti i valori ed i principi che lo guidano, queste sono soddisfazioni che non si pensa possano diventare realtà.

Forse gli ‘addetti ai lavori’ lo hanno già capito ma visto che a seguirmi e a sostenermi sono quasi esclusivamente persone comuni, come me, lo specifico.

Ho suscitato l’interesse della rivista che scrive dei fotografi più importanti di tutto il mondo.

Cosa ci faccio io lì dentro? Sinceramente non lo so ma so che non devi essere il migliore per essere tra i migliori.

Ed io, la mia storia, la mia voglia di vita, la capacità di non arrendermi mai, di conoscere e di esplorare, ne siamo la dimostrazione.

Oggi porto la Basilicata in tutto il mondo e voglio condividere questa gioia immensa con tutti voi!

I've been waiting for this magazine for over a month;

then, when it arrived, I was out of town and once back it took me two days before I was able to open it and leaf through it due to other work commitments and great family pleasures.

In all this time and from the moment they contacted me, I confess, I have always found it hard to believe it.

For those like me who are used to suffering and sacrificing everything for passion and to always keep strong the values and principles that guide them, these are satisfactions that you don't think can become reality.

Perhaps the 'insiders' have already understood this, but given that following me and supporting me are almost exclusively ordinary people, like me, specifically.

I aroused the interest of the magazine which writes about the most important photographers from around the world.

What am I doing in there? I honestly don't know but I know you don't have to be the best to be the best.

And I, my story, my desire for life, the ability to never give up, to know and to explore, are proof of this.
